This year the triathlon will feature an improved run course. It will remain 5km and a link to the route will appear here shortly. The route will still include crowd pleasing loops in the surrounding countryside of Horwich. The route will be mainly on tarmac and trail along quiet roads. The route passes the transition area and is spectator friendly. When competitors have completed the route they will be directed onto the finishing straight to complete the run in front of their adoring fans and team mates.
