2013 Championships

Every summer across the UK lots of NHS employees compete in triathlons, often achieving great results. Whilst other services such as the Armed Forces and the Fire service have annual national championships the NHS didn’t… until 2012, when Mike Cornes and Linda Evans were the first ever NHS Triathlon champions crossing the finish line as the fastest male and female.

Incorporated into the NHS fun triathlon will be the second ever individual national championships for NHS employees.

The NHS 2013 championships will use the same distance/course as the relay event and we are hoping to attract some of the fittest athletes in the country to fight it out for the glory of being crowned the NHS 2013 triathlon champion.

Prizes will be awarded in all major categories for both male and female competitors.

Everyone who enters the NHS Triathlon as an individual will automatically be eligible for the championships, but don’t worry if you are not racing or aiming for a top placing you are still welcome to take part.
